Volunteer With Impact
Looking for a fun way to give back? Impact has a wide variety of ways to get involved! Whether you want to come with a friend, a group of coworkers, or just by yourself there is something for everyone.
cook and serve dinner at rose house
Monthly, Impact program participants gather for dinner at our Rose House Community Room. This is an opportunity for program participants to congregate and visit with one another, as well as with people from the larger community. This type of interaction is integral to participant’s recovery. Gather your family or a group of friends; and sign-up to plan a meal, purchase the food and cook dinner for 12-15 program participants in addition to your group. Many participants enjoy helping prepare the meal and interacting with volunteers during the preparation. And, of course, participates enjoy when volunteers enjoy the freshly prepared home cooked meal with them. To sign-up for a dinner, please contact Dena Malikowski at 847.866.2989
Get a group of friends or co-workers together and make an impact together! We will work with you to create a customizable experience where you can work together with your group to make a real and tangible impact. A recent example of an Impact Day includes a group of co-workers from a Chicago company working side by side with Impact employees and several Impact program participants to do landscape work at one of the properties where Impact participants live.
