Our History

For nearly 30 years, Impact has been providing mental health services and affordable supportive housing to adults recovering from chronic mental illness. Founded as Housing Options in 1988, Impact has been helping adults with serious mental illness get the support that they need.  Since its inception, Impact has grown from a single apartment building with no case management services to possessing six (6) buildings and utilizing an additional 20 scattered site apartments in privately owned buildings. Currently, Impact serves approximately 145 individuals through our housing, clinical and employment services programs.  We provide affordable housing and support from social workers, counselors, case managers and psychiatrists to adults recovering from chronic mental illnesses. All of our programs and services are integrated to ensure that our Participants receive the support they need to recover and attain wellness and reclaim his or her life in the community. We serve individuals through our Clinical Services, Employment Services, and Supportive Housing Programs.
